French Toast

The recipe below makes two servings!


Ingredients:

  • 4 (thick) slices of bread

  • 2-4 Eggs (depends on the absorbency of the bread and size of your eggs!)

  • 1/8 (for 2 eggs) -1/4 cup milk (for 4 eggs) 

  • Cinnamon 

  • Sugar (brown/granulated/raw will all work)

  • Butter

  • Maple Syrup (to serve)

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs in bowl. 

  2. Add milk and a dash of cinamon and a few spoons of sugar. (I used two tablespoons)

  3. Whisk egg mixture till incorporated.

  4.  Pour into flat dish or plate (like a pie plate).

  5. Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter to pan and melt.

  6. Dip bread and ensure all sides are coated thoroughly. I simply cut each slice of bread into four pieces to make them "sticks."

  7.  Fry on pan till golden brown.

  8.  Serve with maple syrup and toppings of your choice!
