The recipe below makes two servings!
Ingredients:
4 (thick) slices of bread
2-4 Eggs (depends on the absorbency of the bread and size of your eggs!)
1/8 (for 2 eggs) -1/4 cup milk (for 4 eggs)
Cinnamon
Sugar (brown/granulated/raw will all work)
Butter
Maple Syrup (to serve)
Directions:
Beat eggs in bowl.
Add milk and a dash of cinamon and a few spoons of sugar. (I used two tablespoons)
Whisk egg mixture till incorporated.
Pour into flat dish or plate (like a pie plate).
Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter to pan and melt.
Dip bread and ensure all sides are coated thoroughly. I simply cut each slice of bread into four pieces to make them "sticks."
Fry on pan till golden brown.
Serve with maple syrup and toppings of your choice!
